Our Story

After teaching SAT-ACT Preparation in the classroom for over fifteen years, and after days and nights of powerpoint-mania, Brenda Stewart created a version of the workshop program for classroom use in 2009. In August of 2010, Brenda asked Leesa Wesley to come onboard as the SAT/ACT math expert. Together, they would have an impressive sixty plus years of teaching experience. After years of research and work, one power point presentation was born for workshop/school use. They knew their workshop was unique and different from others they had witnessed.

They believed teenagers would learn and have fun simultaneously through their energetic workshop approach. Word spread after completing 8 workshops during their first year of operation. Now in 2019, after developing 9 different results-driven SAT/ACT/PSAT/PreACT workshop presentations, along with using Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin, they have a full calendar of 70-80 schools a year and growing!

In nine years of operation, they have been able to reach over 35,000 students and help them increase test scores, gain college admissions and secure top scholarships. From student and school feedback, their workshops are touting a SAT increase of 50-250 points and an ACT gain of 2-8 points.

What makes their workshops different? Students learn testing tips and strategies to Top Billboard pop, rock, hip-hop, country and classic music hits and students just love it! This upbeat approach to learning keeps students focused for an entire 6-hour workshop. Through a musical, motivational and enthusiastic academic workshop, students learn to tackle standardized tests that were once stressful and daunting, thus curbing test anxiety.

Brenda and Leesa, along with a team of Test Prep Specialists, continue to spend countless hours researching, developing, creating and staying current to maintain a quality workshop product, thus giving students the best in test preparation. Their SAT/ACT/PSAT/PreACT workshops began with the kernel of an idea. It took an enormous amount of time, passion, creativity, drive, knowledge, and perseverance to grow it to where it is today.

Brenda Stewart

President, Founder & Presenter

After graduating from Clemson University and having taught high school English and SAT/ACT Prep for 35 years, Brenda embarked on a new adventure...creating a high energy, "strategy-based" SAT/ACT/PSAT/PreACT workshop program presentation for middle/high school students. She has coached varsity softball, tennis, cheerleading and the SAT Prep team. She and her husband reside in Marion, SC, have been married for 39 years and have 2 daughters, 2 sons-in-law, 3 grandsons, and 1 granddaughter.

Leesa Wesley

Vice-President, Researcher & Presenter

With a degree from Francis Marion University and a teaching background in math/curriculum specialist for 35 years, Leesa decided to join Brenda in 2010 in the SAT/ACT/PSAT/PreACT quest to make a difference in the lives of students. She is a past college athlete and varsity coach in basketball, tennis and volleyball. Leesa's hobbies include cycling and running. A Marion native, she resides with her dog, Buff, and is an aunt and great-aunt to many.
